Let's Encrypt - Free SSL/TLS Certificates: Let’s Encrypt is a free, automated, and open certificate
authority brought to you by the non-profit Internet Security Research Group (ISRG).



With recent Google changes your site may show a warning as not being secure. Yay! thanks Google. Not everyone is running massive e-commerce or Facebook level websites. For those of you who are not ready to shell out a few hundred bucks for a new SSL certificate (Secured Socket Layer), that you didn't even know what it was til now, then consider checking into the link above.



Let's Encrypt is a free, open source, non-profit security certificate project. They get donations so that can cut down on costs tot he end-user. They have considerable sponsorship from around the web community. Check it out.
